Comments
Nice TITANGO from the alexandre kneed wooden boat yard, well maintained by the boatyard (wood/epoxy construction, hull paint 2020, deck and transom varnish 2020, new HB engine). Very high level general finish. Mast and standing rigging 2022. Winterized in a hangar 7 months a year.
Ballasted dinghy with low freeboard (0.30m/1.40m), it offers great sensations to its crew.
Teak deck, mahogany transom, Oregon pine bowsprit, the Titango combines different types of wood to better seduce you.
The narrow cockpit is framed by a light coaming, and the mainsheet traveler is thrown back onto the aft deck with the sheet returning to a central turret.
The mahogany slatted interior is superb.
The hydraulic control on stainless steel cylinder for raising the keel is very accessible.
The outboard installation is a model of its kind for a small unit (well under the helm).
This day boat is a real gem which runs with ease at all speeds and demonstrates flawless liveliness.
It has a suspended rudder which raises horizontally and a pivoting lead keel (220 kg) which allow it to run aground or be transported on a trailer.
Visit by appointment.
