Comments
This RM 11.25 built in 1991, is an integral dinghy version with side fins, twin rudders with beaching sole. This design and specificity, desired by the architect Bruno DEVRIESE who is known in the nautical community as an expert in the construction and design of sailboats, in particular for his role within Fora Marine, the French shipyard which manufactures RM sailboats . (As an engineer and manager, he contributed to the reputation of the RM Yachts brand, recognized for its high-performance, innovative sailboats built in epoxy plywood), allows navigation in shallow waters (Draught 0.70 /1.70) and easy and safe grounding.
This RM 11.25 was built individually under his supervision in 1991 for himself. There are only 4 copies. This RM 11.25 has a beautiful forward double cabin, a large saloon under the cockpit, a bathroom, a beautiful, well-appointed kitchen with plenty of storage space (as in all the boat). This boat had a major reconditioning in 2019, including a new hull and deck paint, new anti-slip, a redone electrical circuit, a reconditioned engine, simple and modernized electronics. The lateral drift system is easy to use, and does not require significant maintenance, given that the drift wells are not submerged. A ballast system is installed. The whole boat is very clean, functional for long navigations. On-board energy is provided by 3 service batteries maintained by a 150W solar panel.
The RM 11.25 offers several distinct advantages, particularly for sailors looking for a combination of performance, comfort, and innovation. Here are the main reasons why the RM 11.25 is an attractive choice:
Epoxy plywood construction: The RM 11.25 is constructed of epoxy plywood, a material offering an excellent combination of lightness, robustness, and resistance to osmosis. This not only guarantees superior performance, but also increased longevity.

Excellent performance: The RM 11.25 is renowned for its exceptional performance at sea. Its modern and optimized hull allows fast and responsive navigation.
Integral dinghy with double side fins: This RM 11.25 integral dinghy offers great flexibility for sailing in shallow water or for safely beaching the boat.
Bright and spacious interior: The interior of the RM 11.25 is designed to maximize natural light and provide a comfortable and functional living space. The large panoramic windows and portholes offer a breathtaking view of the outside and flood the interior with light.
Modern and functional fittings: The interior fittings are modern and well thought out, with a spacious double cabin, an ergonomic galley and a comfortable lounge under the cockpit. The materials used are of high quality, offering both durability and aesthetics.
Easy maintenance: Thanks to the use of modern, high-quality materials, the RM 11.25 is relatively easy to maintain, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
Value for money: Compared to other sailboats of similar size and category, the RM 11.25 offers excellent value for money, combining performance, comfort, and durability at a competitive cost.
Brand Reputation: RM Yachts has a strong reputation in the marine industry for building high-performance and innovative sailboats, reinforcing buyers' confidence in the reliability and quality of their boats. In the case of this boat, the construction was carried out under the control of the architect Bruno DEVRIESE.
