The Dufour 48 Prestige is a real invitation to nautical adventure, an exceptional monohull sailboat combining elegance, comfort and performance. This 1996 model is the perfect illustration of the manufacturer of the manufacturer Dufour Yachts, which designed a robust, spacious and well-equipped boat to satisfy the most demanding boaters. With its 14.70 meters in length and its width of 4.62 meters, Dufour 48 offers outstanding habitability, ideal for cruises with family or friends.
The Dufour 48 is equipped with a short keel with a driver of 1.60 meters, which allows it to navigate both in deep waters and in shallow coastal areas. The GRP Poly shell guarantees great solidity while offering excellent handling at sea. The sailboat is powered by a Volvo Penta MD22P engine of 60 CV, recently revised in 2023, with only 2000 hours of navigation, ensuring you reliable and optimal mechanical performance.

The Dufour 48 Prestige offers a flexible configuration with 3 to 4 double cabins, two of which are located at the rear, an intermediate cabin with a double bed and a front berth which can also serve as a sail. Equipped with a card tracker with the Open CPN software, Raymarine I70S multifunction rehearsals (Loch, Sounder, Speedo, Girouette, Anemometer) and an Automatic Raymarine EV1 ACU-400, this sailboat offers total sea control. A Furuno GP32 GPS is connected to a mini-computer asus with a 10.1 inch screen for Detailed in the Channel and the Atlantic, as well as a Navicom RT750 VHF with ASN-CEC to ensure communication in all circumstances.
The Dufour 48 is also equipped with 5 service and engine batteries, installed in September 2023, guaranteeing sufficient electrical autonomy for your long crossings. The electric guindeau system (1200W) was reconditioned in 2023, ensuring simplified management of anchor and mooring maneuvers.
A modern and effective wing
The performances of Dufour 48 are still reinforced by a completely replaced dormant rigging in December 2023, as well as a Full Battle-fabric in mylar/taffeta composite fabric with tri-radial cut, mounted on ball cart, for maximum maneuverability and efficiency in navigation. The genoa on a reel, also in composite fabric, is in excellent condition, with a new UV strip of 2024. A symmetrical spinnaker with sock completes the wing equipment, offering versatility for all wind conditions.
